Experienced, energetic and encouraging. Yvonne holds a BFA with Honours in Dance from York University and is a graduate from Professional Training Program at the School of Toronto. She has completed the Introductory Workshop and Advanced Workshop with Dancing For Parkinson's. She has also learned the BrainDance technique from Annemarie Cabri. Yvonne recently completed the Rhythm Works Integrated Dance Teacher Certification. Performing highlights include 15 years with Famous PEOPLE Players, as a Highland dancer and an aerialist with Gravityworks and much more.
Yvonne has taught in a traditional studio and 6 years ago, she began teaching dance to special populations. Inspired by all of the people she has had the privilege of meeting and performing with, she could see how dance can be enjoyed by everyone in any space including without even leaving a chair. The beauty of movement is found in re-discovering the old and finding new ways we can move through dance.
